National Team
The National Team is currently led by the Detective Chief Superintendent Intelligence & Operations Coordinator who acts as the National Strategic Lead for TOEX. This role manages the Detective Inspector Technical Lead, the Intelligence & Analytics Lead, the Programme & Capability Manager, the Lead Developer, the HR Capability & Development Manager, Communications Lead and Administrator. The rest of the team is made up of a Senior Intelligence Analyst, Performance Analyst, Developers, Intelligence Development Officers, Researchers, and Intelligence Analysts.
Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU)
Created in 2010, ERSOU is funded by the seven police forces that make up the eastern region – Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Kent, and Hertfordshire. The ROCUs primary aim is identifying and disrupting organised criminals operating across the eastern region.
The TOEX team within the Eastern Region Specialist Operations Unit is led by a Detective Inspector, who manages the Senior Analyst, Intelligence Manager, Intelligence Analysts, Data Insights Analysts, Intelligence Development Officers, and Intelligence Researchers.
East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU)
EMSOU is a collaborative unit of officers and staff from Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, and Nottinghamshire police forces tackling the most serious, organised and violent crime, countering terrorism and extremism and providing forensic services on behalf of the region.
The TOEX team within the East Midlands Special Operations Unit is led by a Detective Inspector who manages the Senior Analyst, Intelligence Team Leader, Intelligence Analysts, Data Insights Analysts, and Intelligence Development Officers.
West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCUWM)
The West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit is a collaboration between the police forces of Staffordshire, West Midlands, West Mercia, and Warwickshire to fight organised crime across the region.
The TOEX team within the West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit is led by a Detective Inspector who manages a Senior Analyst, Intelligence Analysts, Data Insights Analysts, Intelligence Development Officers and Researchers.
Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YHROCU)
The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YHROCU) is a collaboration between the police forces of Humberside, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire to fight organised crime across the region.
The TOEX team within the YHROCU is led by a Detective Inspector who manages a Senior Analyst, Intelligence Team Leader, Intelligence Analysts, Data Insights Analysts, Intelligence Development Officers, and Intelligence Researchers.
South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU)
The South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) is a collaboration of police officers and staff from Avon and Somerset Police, Devon and Cornwall Police, Dorset Police, Gloucestershire Constabulary, and Wiltshire Police. SWROCU offers specialist tactics and expertise to pursue offenders, protect and prepare individuals and organisations, and prevent people from engaging in serious and organised crime.
The TOEX team within SWROCU is led by a Detective Inspector who manages a Detective Sergeant, Senior Analyst, Intelligence Analysts, Intelligence Development Officers, Intelligence Researchers, and Data Insights Analysts.
North East Regional Organised Crime Unit (NEROCU)
The North East Regional Organised Crime Unit (NEROCU) is a collaboration of police officers and staff from the three forces of Northumbria, Cleveland and Durham. NEROCU offers specialist tactics and expertise to pursue offenders, protect and prepare individuals and organisations, and prevent people from engaging in serious and organised crime.
The TOEX team within NEROCU is led by a Detective Inspector who manages a Detective Sergeant, Senior Analyst, Intelligence Analysts, an Intelligence Development Officer, Intelligence Researchers and a Data Insights Analyst.
South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU)
The South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) comprises police officers and staff drawn from police forces across the country. SEROCU works in conjunction with Hampshire Constabulary, Surrey Police, Sussex Police, Thames Valley Police, UK Border Force, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to combat cross-border organised crime.
The TOEX team within SEROCU is led by a Detective Inspector who manages a Detective Sergeant, Lead Intelligence Analyst, Intelligence Analysts, Intelligence Development Officers, and a Data Insights Analyst.
North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU)
The North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU) is a collaboration between the six north west police forces in Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and North Wales. NWROCU is made up of officers and staff from across the region who offer specialist skills and additional resources to tackle serious and organised crime that crosses borders in the region.
The TOEX team within NWROCU is led by a Detective Inspector who manages a Detective Sergeant, a Senior Intelligence Analyst, Intelligence Development Officers, Intelligence Analysts, Intelligence Researchers and a Data Insight Analyst.
Tarian Regional Organised Crime Unit
The Tarian Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) comprises police officers and staff drawn from three of the four Welsh forces. Tarian works alongside South Wales Police, Gwent Police, Dyfed-Powys police, UK Border Force, Immigration Enforcement, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), the National Crime Agency (NCA), Trading Standards, Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Natural Resources Wales, and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to combat cross-border organised crime.
The TOEX team within Tarian is co-led by a Detective Inspector and Senior Intelligence Analyst who lead a Detective Sergeant, Intelligence Development Officers, Intelligence Analysts, Intelligence Researchers and a Data Insight Analyst.

London Region
The London TOEX team are embedded within the Metropolitan Police Service and are supported by the British Transport Police to improve the response to the exploitation of vulnerable people within the Greater London area.
The team is co-led by a Detective Inspector and Lead Intelligence Analyst who manage a team comprised of an Intelligence Manager, Intelligence Development Officers, Intelligence Analysts, and Intelligence Researchers.
